Stickture

Stickture Privacy Policy

Effective date: 3 August 2026 · Applies to the Stickture Android app (app.stickture.app) and stickture.app.

The short version

Who we are

Stickture is an Android app that turns your photos into WhatsApp-ready stickers using AI. This policy explains exactly what data the app processes, why, and what happens to it. Contact for anything privacy-related: support@stickture.app.

Your photos

When you tap Generate, the photo you picked and your chosen style options are sent over an encrypted connection to our backend, which passes them to our AI provider, OpenAI, solely to generate your stickers. OpenAI acts as a data processor on our behalf for this single purpose: your photos are not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared for any other purpose. We do not keep a copy of your photo or your generated stickers on our servers — the finished sticker is returned to your device, and your sticker library lives only on your phone.

Device ID, credits, and purchases

Stickture gives every device 12 free stickers. To make that work — and to stop the same device claiming free stickers forever — we store, in our database (Google Firebase / Google Cloud, region us-central1, United States):

We use this data for exactly two purposes: fraud prevention (one free grant per device, refund abuse detection) and purchase fulfillment (adding the credits you bought, restoring them, and removing credits from refunded purchases). Credits belong to the device, not to a person or account.

No accounts, no personal details

There is no sign-up. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location. The app uses an anonymous session identifier from Firebase purely so your device can talk to our backend securely.

Payments

Credit-pack purchases are processed by Google Play's billing system. Google handles your payment method and billing details under Google's Privacy Policy; Stickture never receives your card or bank information — we only receive confirmation that a purchase happened so we can add your credits.

Website analytics

Our website, stickture.app, uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how people find and use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, the links you click (for example, the Google Play button), your approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address), and your browser and device type. We look at this data only in aggregate — to see whether the site is doing its job — and we do not use it to identify you. It is never linked to anything the Stickture app stores, and the app itself contains no analytics or advertising trackers.

Google processes this data on our behalf under Google's Privacy Policy; you can read more about how Google uses it at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To opt out, use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block cookies for stickture.app in your browser settings.

Reporting a sticker

If you report a generated sticker as inappropriate, we store the report with the prompt parameters that produced it (the mood, style, and caption options) so we can investigate and improve our safeguards. The report never includes the image itself or your photo.

How long we keep data

The device record (hashed ID, credit balance, purchase records) is kept for as long as it is needed to provide the service and prevent fraud — in practice, for the life of the app on your device and a reasonable period afterwards. Sticker reports are kept only as long as needed to review them. If we delete data on request (below), it is removed from our live database immediately and from backups in the normal backup cycle.

Deleting your data

Email support@stickture.app from any address and we will delete your device's record — the hashed device ID, its credit balance, and its purchase records. Note that deleting the record also deletes any remaining credits, and the free 3-sticker grant cannot be claimed again on that device. Your sticker library is stored only on your phone and is removed by uninstalling the app.

Children

Stickture is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app and you would like their device record removed, contact support@stickture.app.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version at this address and update the effective date at the top. Material changes (for example, collecting a new type of data) will also be highlighted in the app before they apply to you.
